Trying to understand your logic and can't. Desecrate wasn't made specifically for DD, it can be used for summoning, offerings and devouring totem. So why DD+Desecrate is "pure DD build" while DD+some other skill isn't? Just because that skill makes 1% of build's DPS, and Desecrate does only 0.01%?
And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.

The tipping point could be a kill. Since you will never observe Desecrate killing an enemy using a Natharias-approved "Pure DD" build, it remains untouched, but when you deal a kill via any other skill, the build is tainted and no longer pure DD.

Oh, right, you don't. You run around like a dumbass trying to figure out how to kill them, because you got cast speed instead of damage. OOPS.

a) Enemies mostly get one-shot from the DD, cast speed will help.
b) If enemies don't die I cast again -> Cast Speed needed.
Even if you have terrible dmg, which it sounds like you assume, Cast Speed will benefit it.
Let me know if you still disagree and I will give you super-solid video evidence that Cast Speed matters.
And once again, Cast Speed will also benefit Desecrate.

Yes, I agree. But look, I don't use one skill for single target and one for packs. I use one skill to kill 1 single white mob so that I can kill the entire pack with DD. If there's a long chain of packs in the map I will in fact only have to cast Flameblast once.
If I kill >90% of the white mobs and 100% of the blue/rare/unique mobs using DD, how the hell is this not a "pure" DD build?

I get the point if someone uses one skill for packs and one for single target. I would not consider it a pure build for that single target skill. However that's not the case here.

...is just one reason RF could work in a pure DD build. It would be used for utility to augment Leap Slam/Whirling Blades, Lightning Warp, Flame Dash, fire damage, etc.

Flameblast is only usable to kill an enemy. RF is not.

That ring won't help RF do anything for a DD build, you are not considered ignited while using RF.
Your point of using RF was even that you'd use it to kill something.
