[THEORYCRAFT] Blade Flurry + Blade Vortex Cast while Channeling

So, I want to try this crazy thing, next league. It might work. It probably won't.
"I heard you like Blades, so I put some spinning blades on your blade spinning so you can spin blades while you spin blades" If you haven't seen Cast while Channeling yet, here's the early version GGG shared on Twitter:  (Level 10, 6% Quality)Looks like level increases the frequency and quality gives +% Inc Damage. Proposed gem links: Blade Flurry - Cast while Channeling - Blade Vortex - Increased AoE/Conc effect - Fortify - Increased Critical Strikes The immediate downside compared to the more traditional style, quite predictably, is that it's not going to be used with Spell Echo and Increased Duration, which are pretty handy for Blade Vortex. The Scourge (claw) x 2 would likely be the best weapon(s) to use, though it's possible a rare weapon with an Essence of Delirium or something would be better. Here's the tree I've come up with so far:www.poeurl.com/Rq0 I don't want the build to be too expensive, but if it's going to be CI, that might be unavoidable. Anyway, please give me your advice/feedback. I just think that meta-ing the meta would be hilarious. And who knows? It might even be effective (though I seriously doubt it). Why would you use fortify on this? Link fortify to your mobility skill and add another damage boosting gem here.

" My logic was that you had to stand still for a long time to get any blades build up, which makes Fortify desirable. Increased Critical Multiplier would probably be a better gem in place of it. |

is blade flurry even considered a channeling skill? doesn't say it is in the description

Yes, blade furry is channeling skill.
Blade Flurry is a channeling melee attack. http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Blade_Flurry Description on wiki. Why not use the gem cast when channeling and blade vortex on another place? The gem don't say that you need to link with blade flurry. Or Am I wrong? Best Regards, Tiago Canoas |

" By IC do you mean Increased Crit Chance or Increased Crit Multiplier? Why do you think Bladefall would be better than Blade Vortex? And, even if it is, the point of this build is to spin blades while you spin blades, so I might not want to do it regardless of effectiveness. Seems to be useless with blade flurry. Cast on crit with blade flurry can provide 2 attacks per second with a very solid multiplier.
