" I see. That makes more sense then what I thought you meant. Even then... for 240% Spell Damage? I'll whiff 5% of my spell casts. That said...I'd probably NOT use these for Flameblast. Ignites mean too much to Flameblast to remove them, or make them 0 damage. Personally I'm thinking fun things like Freeze Pulse. Or perhaps Storm Call. Firestorm with Elemental Focus could probably drop the Orb setup by itself, simply because of how much it hits, and Elemental Focus would make the lack of ignites feel just fine. - Sheepster |

What about running this with cast when channeling?
The goal would be to either use something else to price the crit or cast fast enough where you can trigger it every handful of seconds. Something like that right? |

" It would be handy, but in the end, you're losing two support gems, and you could just use Orb of Storms. I might try it for ease of use, but....Orb would be more optimal. Also, we don't really know how Cast When Channeling, if that even is what it's called, will work....It might only trigger on full stacks, or at Channel start or something, and that would render the idea moot. - Sheepster |

Hm. I wonder how Cast when Channeling would work for Blade Flurry if you also used Cast on Crit and Cast on Melee Skill. BF, CWC, COC, COMK, and then Inc Crit and like Bladefall or something, and maybe it'd trigger a TON, like old COC. Could be funny.

I've seen this Cast When Channeling mentioned several times before but when and where was it announced? I knew a new support gem was being released for channeling spells but I don't recall them announcing exactly what it'll be. D:

Cast on channeling is on the main discussion page. Looks like at level 20 it'll cast a spell every .55 seconds. Could link ConChannel with laser spell + 3 spells and some damage amplifier. It might proc a crit enough to keep the wand damage amplifier.
