Thank you! I'm glad you liked my idea.

I agree with some people and find myself sad that I can't +1 their post or hit like it.
x64 also crashing right away, Win 10.
64 bit client just crashes as per other people "path of exile has stopped working"
DX11 insta crash. Tried the DX9 and it totally froze up my pc exiting the game.
@ Valasia yeah, the multiquote thing is annoying, be nice to not have to sift through 25 pages of posts sometimes.
Not complaining or anything, just expressing an opinion. :)
I'm still downloading the patch, so no idea if its gonna crash for me or not yet.

Both Scorching Ray and Blight are doing over 3k BASE damage

474.1 * (1+((60*8)/100)) = 2,749.78 *1.24 = 3409.7272

Base damage for SR @ 8 stacks and -24% resist [12 seconds window] is ~ 3410 DPS

Blight is only doing

123 * (1 / .3)[casts per second] * 2.5 [debuff length] = 1025

(2460 if you could get all 20 sacks; sadly you can't with JUST the base skill)

Base dot per sec on Blight is 1025 DPS only if cast for the full 2.5 seconds of it's duration.

Blight only dose 1/3 of the damage of SR because it can only get to 6-7 ish stacks out of it's 20. Blight ideally needs ((10/3 *(1+x))/2.5 = 20, x = 1.4 or 140% increased cast speed to max out it's DPS in it's 2.5 seconds window. [duration gem would basically let you get returns if you have less than 140% cast speed?]

Fun side note SR needs only about:

2*(1+x)*2.5 = 8 , x = .6 or about 60% increased cast speed to max out it's damage (stacks) in the same window.
