Ignore list is limited

i wish there was ignore button here on the forums too, so when you ignore someone that person wasnt allowed to post in your threads, this guy obv isnt here for any good reason, keyboard warrior, who love to spam.

So instead of having a real discussion or take critique you would rather mute ppl so that you never have to hear anything that you dont like and were everyone is pleasant to you and agrees whit all you say?

BTW, in my playtime I had to clear in-game ignorelist at least twice, and my forum ignorelist is less than 10 names. Guess it says something about global chat quality.

you are obv missing the point, i wouldnt ignore everyone who disagree with me, i would ignore people like (wont mention names, but u know who if have read the thread) cuz he is not here to be constructive in anyway.. if u cannot see that. then im sry for you..

that guy deserve to be on EVERYONE`s ignorelist.

you really think garena cis had 10% of the overall player base? i think it's less.

and i ever wondered why nobody made a external tool to setup the ingame's ignore list.

if you can only manually remove all players/single players and add single players from a list it should be allowed.

If you need to ignore over 100 people in game, the problem is with you, not the other people.

How is problem with me? Like wtf, Yes I have ignore list full and I can´t see how is problem with me. I have +-10400 hours played with alot trading which means I ignored about 1 person every 100 hours on average (have it full for a while now..) While I do many trades everyday and I do not only ignore people who were rude to me or tried scamming me but also people who scammed friends/tried to scam friends or were rude to friends. They are my friends and I don´t want to get into contact with anyone who hurts them either. Also there are some scammers written on reddit from time to time, I don´t wanna be one of those who get scammed so I just ignore them aswell. It´s not about that they did something to me but I ignore people who are toxic in general and ruins the community... and believe me if you play alot everyday for few years, 100 people is just nothing.

And for people who say most people you ignore you will most likely never meet again anyway is not true at all. The community is not that big that you would not trade with same people over and over especially if you trade alot.

it's not a problem with you.

it's just that the ignore list is just a very plain convenience feature, ggg could easily provide a more advanced version as mtx feature.

for example it could have a temporary and a permanent ban list. when i look up the trade chat, my list fills with 20+ players to make the chat readable.

additionally i always ignore players who don't say "thx" after a trade (i don't trade that often).

so i have to reset my ignore list pretty often but i really would like to only reset the players i ignored for convenience reasons.

in general, the question is: is it useful to be able to block accounts forever? most scammers likely use burner accounts for their raids, it doesn't really make sense to perma block all those accounts over years.

this is made worse for the fact that the message filtering is done server side, so increasing the ignore filter size to, say, 1000 accounts would substantially increase server load.
