flask of Dousing can't dispell burning

if burning (ignite) has been caused by elementalist. (probably during one of conflux cycles)
Problem: impostor syndrome

Hmm, tried to reproduce this and I'm not having this issue. I've tried with both the Igniting Conflux and Elemental Conflux.

Do you have any other information or things that you think might be causing you not to be able to remove the ignite?
Are you sure it was ignite and not burning ground or RF?
Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:

Flasks of Dousing are supposed to remove RF.
"Removes Burning on use" - not Ignite

From empirical testing in game, flasks of Dousing have removed RF for me in the past, and as far as I can tell still do.

Burning ground, of course, is a possible culprit, because the very 1/60th second you remove the burning from it, it starts up again :P

So does RF, if it comes from someone else.

It seems like OP was in pvp (or fighting against a rogue exile/grandmaster/etc...), and got ignited by a witch character, and couldn't remove it with a flask of dousing. It's pretty easy to confuse ignite with other sources of burning if they come from someone else. However the OP would have to be impressively un-aware to cast RF on themselves and then think it was ignite from another player.

PS: Another option is that the ignite was being proliferated to the OP (eg: by a corpse nearby), and the OP was using an instant flask of dousing so the ignite immunity wasn't there to stop the proliferation.

Good point, agreed there, my previous post is largely irrelevant in case that's not clear to any other readers in here :P

Thank you very much for your response. I didn't expect any attention to such low effort bug report :P

Here's an example:

got hit by fireball, ignited,
used flask of dousing,
you can see ignite debuff icon and 'immunity' flask effect icon at the same time.

In this case burning damage was quite weak, but you can imagine the effect if character got hit by crit flameblast or fire trap on Hall of Grandmasters map.

Is there anything else I can do to help to detect the bug? Videos / character stats / bugreport references?

It's not limited to elementalist, yesterday my character almost died to undispellable burning inflicted by flameblast templar on HoGM map.

I'll be taking another look at this when I get back into the office on Monday. In your GIF, what is hitting you? Another player or a monster? Your flask definitely has the correct mod on it?

I gave this a quick look last week and it seemed to be working fine. Perhaps there is a smaller set of restrictions that is buggy though. Interested in as much detail as possible to help.

Does the dousing mod not work on various flasks or just a specific one?
The gif was made on sarn arena. Opponent were elementalist with dragon-fireball mtx.

1) Got hit by central projectile of LMP fireball during 2 sec conflux cycle. You can see chill, shock and ignite debuff icons (elemental equilibrium as well)
Experimenter's Bismuth Flask of Dousing is full.

2) Experimenter's Bismuth Flask of Dousing has been used.

3) Shock and chill expired, but ignite and flask effect 'immunity' icon are still there.

Character has no ignite/burn/elemental status ailment -related items equipped (except "of Dousing" flask). The only thing related to status ailment is Elemental Focus notable.

I had the same problem in previous league on HoGM map while using Chemist's Eternal Mana Flask Of Dousing, but it had happened only once out of 20-ish HoGMs.

It's pretty common occasion on Sarn arena. (4-6 cases each hour if there anyone using fire damage and can't oneshot)
