yes but lightning strike is not just melee is it? neither is ground slam, so what about the many who use the ranged aspect almost exclusively, as many users of the skill do? its not a melee time saver for them, its a huge hassle that can get them killed.

I do have to say that for abilities like Lightning Strike, it does seem prudent that the ability would attack from the furthest possible range, and not force you to walk up to the enemy.
