" It does work with vaal pact. I believe the reason is that vile bastion is straight ES regen, where as ZO makes life regen work for ES and therefore does not work wth vaal pact. |

Build is great so far, I'm still a little squishy with 8.5k ES and I don't know why. Maybe resistances? I've done up to tier 8 maps with relative ease though breaches are pretty tough.

but one question! we are all the time on low mana! So does Infernal Mantle dont hurt??? wouldn't it better to use The Beast Fur Shawl?? | |

Just wanted to take a sec and say THANK YOU! I have played a number of different builds, but have not had as much fun AND success as with the Chaos Vortex build. I have always prefered the wizard/witch type characters in games and this one simply rocks (2.5)!! Thank you for the time and effort you put into this primo guide! It is by far one of the nicest in presentation and content! I appreciate your time in making the game more enjoyable. (Very affordable build!)
