hehehe. Running with some iir I feel the same,
I go with 2 tabs: all jewlery and quality unid rares.
and all unid non quality, non jewlery rares.

28/29/30 diamond rings get id'd several other high ilvl
bases get id as well. love them diamonds tho.. god dayam.

theres room in the tab to organize quite well:
top row, helm, then glove, then body armor then body armor again
then boots. makes it pretty quick to grab em when its vendor time.
leave a few columns for pure two handed weapons (3 top to bottom)

used to collect dual 1 handers to save just a little bit of space...
but that cuts down slightly on alc shards and alt shard income.

I love about poe that economics can be pretty complex before
trading even comes into it.
