yeah u mostly discharge about 5-10 times (shield charge or cyclone) and the nerf will absolute kill it. It's not simply less dps, but less survivability and stuffs

This nerf = 60% less damage, it is now just the double of CoC gem (500 ms), before was 5x more (100 ms).

Pretty sure the 250ms change / nerf (however we wanna call it) will deal a big blow to this build. As to whether the build will survive...time will tell (though I'm of the opinion that the answer will be no). In any case, was fun for a league. Thanks for the build. =)

The build took some heavy blows but until we see all the new uniques it should mostly stay the same, the build will still be a good build but might not be worth the investment anymore, we will see how the market changes around the cost of the build.

It it still the primary choice for Discharge however, coc is still beaten by malice simply because of proc rate on malice compared to the gem.

Single target has suffered heavily but clearspeed should still be acceptable, you'll still procc malice on every shield charge with mediocre attack speed.

I will do extensive testing and provide results once 2.5 hits.

With the change to proc rate and blade vortex, it's possible we don't have to run coc blade vortex anymore since we would be generating charges fast enough before the discharge.

I'm guessing we can have Fortify in the setup now.
Something like

Cyclone + AddAccuracy + IncreasedCritStrikes + powerChargeOnCrit + Fortify

with FasterAttack (not sure if we will cyclone too fast with it)
or Increased AoE (More range for cyclone)

What do you think about running vaal rf to one shot single target instead of cyclone? I know its not as consistent but do you think it would work?

I think it's a good idea, if you do more testing let me know, i'll test this myself in 2.5

what was your set up when you were leveling as coc? just a rough list of items and gem links will do.

So what i spend 200 ex in this build and now i will have to sell the items for 20c.... really dissapinted in game i think i am going to leave..

can we have acces to your characters please?rly want to study ppl builds in otder to achieve knowledge and base information for my self.
