I think he meant that old characters should use old versions of skills (chaos-damaging Blood Rage for example), not that it should be left it its current, bugged state.
And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.

Well I have the option to reexport it, so it was my choice not to do so for now.
But the recasting into suicide should still get fixed :P
