[QoL] remove flask effects form top left corner

This is revolutiionary! Maybe needs some more thought about things like multiple buffs from on flask but hey, i'm sure that canbe arranged somehow as well!

I don't think so, because that the flask itself is active is indicated with the little clock/timer "0:04" and then each flask can have just one suffix which can be displayed as single icon. Unique flasks won't have an icon at all, due to the fact they would simply have that clock/timer which indicates that it is active.

Edit: I found out that i did a mistake on the first image, it should look like

Edit: If i got it correct i used the image for faster run suffix and not the one for the quicksilver flaks itself, so i like to have extra speed on those thats why it is a bit of a bad example here.

On a related note, accidentally clicking on an aura (like if you are targeting a monster in the upper-left of the screen) should not disable that aura.

I see no reason for this particular design decision.
Same with Shrine effects and other similar stuff. Don't you just hate clicking on a shrine then dismissing its effects trying to kill something?

Well for Shrines I like it, because you should be able to get rid of them. But for Auras, there is a better way to do that.

I wonder if there is any case where one Flask might have two effects that are cancelled out individually. If there isn't all you basically need is an indication that this Flask is active, because you should know which effect is linked to which flask, since you likely pressed it for that effect in the first place. Maybe you could add letters similar to supports to the effect symbol to represent things like Additional Movement Speed, Armor, Resistances or Immunities.

Kind of but it would help still to better see the effect without hovering, so I would like to keep those flask-effect-images, but instead of the top left corner directly above the falsk.

This sound also like a good idea, I had quite some time a not so good similar in mind.

The base line imo is to visualize the suffixes on flask somehow, either when they are active or alwas and when they are active visualize directly at the flask that is. Especially if you swap chars and play them you might not rember why you choose which flask, or need to rethink your flask-keys to trigger them correct, there it would be alot helpful I think.

Holy crap!

Is this why I sometimes find auras mysteriously turning off?
that's so bad.

I don't know what is meant by this (if it is regarding to another thread should be discussed there) but afaik clicking on the top left icons does nothing and swapping (via mouse) skills at the bottom right does not disable any auras.

The following shows how it could improved even further, as u can see inaktive flask with speical suffix display them grayed out, if they don't have a suffix its completly empty. If a flask is active the suffix icon is colorful and a timer is visible.

Those grayed out icons are still valualbe becase all flask could (nearly) look alike, in contrast to my prior posts where i have different base flask types.
