It's time to remove reflect damage
GGG learned a ton from Diablo and Blizzard. Perhaps the best lesson was not to cave to people whining on the forums constantly.

Well i have 75lvl wander shadow with pure elemental 4k lmp attack and elemental reflect just a joke for me but at the other hand my 3k pure physical leap slammer mara suffers reflect even with granites i killed myself tens of times to the underwater cant detectable auras and armor and damage reductions broken mechanics doesnt help as well but stacking 75 all res not a big deal that ele reflect far less deadly for us.

I personally , see alot of issues in this game atm, but reflect damage is not one of them.
Reflect elemental damage can easily be mitigated with resistances vs the element you sling, and physical reflect is a joke to begin with. My thoughts. GGG - Why you no?

" Really? How much armor on that leap slammer? Do you have life on hit or life steal on that leap slam? Just asking as I do similar damage with Groundslam and reflect does literally nothing to me. |

" For starters, stop posting rhetorical bullcrap I come from playing dota, which is the complete opposite of any "gimme" type game or "gimme" type generation. If you want the definition of a hardcore game, play DotA, because it pretty much has a vertical learning curve and takes years for most people to learn properly (especially if you are learning it yourself) This has nothing to do with "gimme". There is nothing appealing in copying FOTM builds to progress in the game, which is, guess what, what the majority of the so called "hardcore" players do in PoE. Personally I'd say reflect should be turned into an actual reflect.
If a mob with X% reflect is hit by a projectile then that projectile has a X% chance of reversing direction and turning harmful to the player. Nothing more. Nothing less. My vision for a better PoE: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/863780

" Well first of all groundslam is much safer and slow paced when we compared with leap splam because i actually dive into packs and if they are on the sea side maps w/o my granites i deal pure 2k hit directly on my every hit so even though i have like 40% reduction with increased aoe around more than 10 mobs im insta dead. But what the hell im lvl 80 and my dmg reduction sucks due to my low level 5l and no armor multipliers. " I use leapslam as well and hop right into the middle of groups. I am at level 81 but really take zero damage from it. Even on maps that have 20% physical reflect on top of the normal rare reflect. 6k Heavy strike still gains me life due to life leach and with life on hit on both ground slam and leap slam i gain life for using them. Im sure its just the endurance charges then as I also have very low armor for my level. |
