[2.6] Sorith's Arc Miner Shadow [Crit/Eva/Dodge] [Budget friendly & nice clear speed]

          Introduction

For starters it's not try-hard uber DPS build to dominate everything.

I wanted to try mines this league and picked Arc for this. I don't know if there is a build like this on the forums, so sorry if I repeated someone, it wasn't my intention.

Build focuses around dodge and some evasion with a bit small HP pool until late game.

If you'll check my stats etc. you may think it's a suicide to play this, but I must say I have no problems with doing Merciless Izaro or farming maps. I've died with this character only once, at level 65 when I've tried to rush Merciless Izaro. I've caught in the AoE when he was on charges, so insta death(no dodge/evasion yet).

Overall it's how I enjoy Arc Miner in my own way. Just wanted to share it with you guys.

          Questions

Why Arc?
- I like Lightning Spells. Arc combined with mines gives really good clear speed.

Why Fireball for swap?
- Good damage, good projectile speed, burn delays ES regen on rares/bosses. You can try other things, Ice Spear, Arctic Breath, etc. Experiment a bit if you want and pick what fits your strategy.

Why Alpha's Howl?
- Less mana reserved means more damage you can take as mana instead of life. Also freeze immunity allows you to roll something else on flasks.

Why EVA/ES chest?
- Best I was able to get for now, also it was easier to roll good socket colours.

Do you die a lot?
- No, I've died maybe 6-7 times with this character(counter from level 1 to 90).

Did you kill Uber Izaro?
- Yes, at level 88. Killed him few times in a row. No big deal if you keep your distance. Traps are always more annoying than killing him.

Did you kill Atziri?
- Yes, I did. There's a video at the bottom.

Most annoying thing in this build?
- Vaal totems/Rares with "Allies cannot die" mod. Arc targeting is REALLY messed up around those. You need to put mines literally in 1m range from Totem/Rare to actually kill it. Otherwise Arc will bounce on minions around.

          Playstyle

For most of the time just use Arc for fast clearing & Assassin's Mark to generate power charges.

For bosses pop up Grace + Quartz Flask, use Enfeeble to make the fight less dangerous, swap to Fireball Mines and enjoy.

Keep your distance from things, remember you're evasion/dodge character with lower HP pool.

We use Mind over Matter & Artctic Armour in this build, this adds some damage reduction, we need it because of low hp pool.

Try to roll +2-3 Arc Chains in your helmet. I don't know how long it will take you but for me it was about 2 days(well maybe 1.5) to get this.

          Leveling

Tremor & Arc can be acquired pretty fast but we need Passives to really see what they can do.
Just grab Tabula Rasa if you can or any 4L armor at the beginning, get Firestorm + Conc. Effect + Added Lightning Damage + Added Cold Damage(+ Faster Casting + Fire Penetration if you have Tabula Rasa)and just kill everything in your way.
If you grab all important Mine nodes(should be around A2/A3 on Merciless)in your passive tree just switch to Tremor & Arc.

You need this to get Deadly Infusion... It's crit build with Power Charges.
What Jewels do you suggest for the build? You mention picking up the nodes in the skill tree but not what to put in them. Is there any unique ones I should be looking out for?

Not OP but I'm basically playing the same build and I think you definitely want defensive jewels. The build doesn't have that much defense apart from movement speed, instagibbing and some dodge/eva (right now I have 4.4k hp, 700 mana after auras, 42% eva, 40% dodge and 46% spell dodge), so your jewels should probably be as defensive as possible. Stuff like % life, % mana (for more EHP), evasion (if you have a significant amount of it), maybe mine laying speed so you can put mines down and run away faster (haven't had a chance to test this one yet, idk if jewels are a noticeable improvement on top of tremor rod). The other affixes on your jewels should probably be crit multi if possible, and damage/crit chance if you can't find good crit multi jewels.

Ya, you want to look for %hp/%mine dmg/%crit multi and maybe resistances if you need some.
Also for this league you can remove Arctic Breath & GMP and put there Vortex/Phase Run & Decoy Totem. This would work better while doing breaches. Switching to Stibnite Flask instead of Quicksilver would be good too for opening breaches.

Added info about jewels in "Gear" section.

Um...what? How does Assassin's Mark help you generate power charges?
