How do I access the Atlas

I am totally lost. If you can not find Zana in storyline locations, how is someone supposed to find her?

I have been playing for almost 2 years, have 567 hours and have never seen Zana.

Maybe the developers need to make Zana easier to find?

My fiancee and I play together, we were both looking forward to the new maps, create new characters, start playing and can not figure out how to access the new areas. We are both supporters, and this is very upsetting to both of us.

We are both getting tired of the same maps and same quest over and over. New maps were supposed to be in the update, so where are they at?

Why advertise the Atlas, then hide it? Why not make it easy to find? Why make player jump through hoops to enjoy the game?

Once you have run a map after the 2.4 update, you will find Zana in the Eternal Labratory. This was announced here: http://massivelyop.com/2016/08/12/path-of-exiles-atlas-of-worlds-expansion-launches-september-2/
Please contact support@grindinggear.com if you need any assistance.

Thank you for the reply, but I can not find her in the laboratory. I have been looking for her for months.

Why is she so difficult to find? Why can't she be rescued and in town or something?

She's only in the Eternal Lab, located in Solaris Temple 2 by WP, in Merciless difficulty. You absolutely cannot miss her. She's right by where you insert a map into the device. She appears after you complete your first map.

After all those weird complains, i must ask: have you ever run any (at least one) map from the Eternal Laboratory through the Map Device?

Because all of your answers in both of your threads point to the thought that you've never actually ran maps.
Not "storymode" maps as you think (like Act1 - Act 4), but "map" maps. Endgame maps.

before atlas you could find her by:
- finding tier 1 map items in the normal storyline
- put these map items into the map device in merciless difficulty
- run maps and find zana in every 6th map on average
- complete her mission
- she appears in the lab after she got to level 3 and then can then be invited to your hideout (after around 20 to 30 maps)

- you can get her map device as well as all other tools of masters you found at least once into your hideout stash by typing /claim_crafting_benches in chat.

---

atlas changed that in a way that you just find her after finishing your first map (killing the boss)

the game is designed to have the player learn a thing or two every day for the first few months dependend on the time you take studying the wiki, asking questions in global chat or the forums/reddit or interacting with other players in guilds/public parties...

but you're definitely right with your argument when it comes to those chat commands that bring a serious advantage in the game.

After I complete cruel, will zana be in the cruel difficulty eternal laboratory?

Or will she only be in the merciless eternal laboratory?

only on merciless difficulty.

that is when the official story line ends: you have to complete the game 3 times on normal, cruel and merciless difficulty, then the endgame starts with zana maps

off before: "my fiancé left me!!"

You have to be in Merciless act3, that's when the "endgame" begins. You don't have to go to act4 or even finish act3, but you have to get to Merciless Act3, turn in the items from battlefield and docks, and the room opens. After you finish a map here you will meet Zana.

To access the Atlas, you must "complete" a map. This means that you must kill ALL bosses of the map.

as far as I remember, t1 maps all have a single boss, and you can't get maps higher than t1 in story mode.
edit: also, to complete low-level map it must be magic(blue) one
And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.
