Severe Server Problems

Just make a week period at the beginning of the league for test/bug purposes.

Problem hopefully solved.

i managed to get to lvl 6 before the lag spikes/disconnect happened.

i do 100% agree that its not fair that some players get to play while others do not....

it also wouldn't be fair to those that have been playing and earned decent gear/currency/drops to have the servers reset on them....those players arent at fault for the rest of us not being able to play...

we all get it...the players that have been playing will have better econ and more xp etc etc etc and well it sucks for the rest of us it is what it is.

get over it...

As much as I love GGG, I must jump in with other people demanding a league reset.

The first hours are a critical point in a league where you get to make most of the currency and it is totally unacceptable that some people gets to have this advantage opportunity while the others do not.

GGG has usually been really great at handling those situations and choosing the option that is fair to the majority, and in this case IMHO is that a league reset is required.

I really look forward playing Atlas of Worlds and the Essence league when everyone will be able to compete equally. If it does not happen, this league is already bound to be dead from the start.

E: With no announcement in sight of a league reset, I really start to question GGG's decision making regarding the league reset in a game based around economy.

So once again where is the thrill of Racing, WHERE?? start of the league crashes a lucky few stay in get 30+ levels ahead of everyone else and are proud of that. DaFaq you are proud that you got lucky and over 85% were stuck in a queue waiting to get back into the game. yea that makes perfect sense.

GGG Wants to be fair to there player base but here we are no reset in sight at all.

To all the people who can't understand why they didn't catch the error on internal servers.

Games are complex things. They had to migrate the expansion from a small test server into a world-wide release. Coding languages have quirks and bugs can be hard to deal with. Even a simple website can be completely messed up when you move it to a live server. Some issues are just impossible to expect even after extensive testing. I had an experience where a simple space after a text messed up a whole site, that shit takes ages to find :D Hope it gets fixed soon though, i'm excited to play.

So here's an interesting scenario. My husband and I are playing in the same room. I cancel out of the queue, log back in and am 2800 in queue. He does the same after me and gets 1300 in queue. Anyone care to explain that? We're on same server and everything.

If your queue isn't moving, just cancel and start it again on another server.

I was stuck on Amsterdam's realm (1910th) and changed for Frankfurt's. I'm now in game after 10 min of waiting ;)

If you don't believe me, just try it with a second account since you can open 2 PoE client.
