Just got hacked

There was a bug with open games that made people able to clear out stashes early d3 release. Without any security system there is a big chance GGG has been compromised aswell.

Wouldn't make me think that GGG was at fault though. Common sense is an easy concept for me.

And common sense doesnt tell you that if 1000 people get hacked within a few hours the game is comprimised?

What IF Chris admitted they got comprimised? That would be ALOT of bad reputation.

I've never been hacked myself. But you seem to take GGG way to hard. Common players are mostly idiots but there is something fishy going on and its not phishing scams.

Where are you getting 1000 from? There have maybe been 100-200 people that have posted since the game went into open beta. That's like .02% of the population. (Assuming 1 million players and 200 players hacked on the forums.)

15 years of playing online games, never had an account compromised before.

Woke up this morning to my currency being gone and my lvl 73 hc char being in default league.

I was lucky, I lost about 2 exalt worth and I had no intention of playing that character anymore. I really didn't think much of this, made sure I don't have a keylogger and went on with business as usual.

I'm very concerned about GGG not giving any kind of statement of what was obviously a server breach.

maybe not GGG has been compromised, but it's undeniable that something major has been compromised and a list of emails & passwords has been stolen
