Oh and btw people complaining they don't get red maps, just corrupt some t10-11 maps and run them, you'll get red maps (for more spice throw in zana beyond mod). Happy hunting!

Thanks for the tip on how to get red map drops (if that works). So where's the GGG hint on this in PoE? I mean, I understand not wanting to be spoon fed everything and removing the fun of learning by doing but taking that to the limit in PoE is out of control. Also, if everything if kept secret in PoE then since PoE is so large on recipes and all it's impossible to learn them all playing SSF. I feel stupid now for not googling this. Thanks again.

It's easy to see how a newbie can be input overloaded in A1N and die many times and then hit the Brutus or Merveil boss battle wall and repeatedly fail and then say "this game is shit" and permanently quit (by Chris' estimates it's around 50% of new players quitting before A2N). Then again all the veterans rush through to maps easy in under a week (some can do this in 1 day) and are frustrated that GGG doesn't make this a tougher challenge. If ever there was a crying need for a difficulty factor to accommodate both ends of the player spectrum the core game is definitely needing this.

Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.

My gladiator at Prophecy was doing Atziri runs at 3rd day, at 4th day was al level 85, and i'm far from elites. I don't know how they rush faster. But everyleague improve a little... after all:

In the USA it's the Labor Day weekend so most have a short workday Friday and get Monday off for a 3 day weekend. I'm glad that many PoE fans are not going to get sucked in and play update 2.4.0 and labor on it this weekend. Life's too short to not take minor vacations or breaks from our real work when available. This is the last 3 day weekend until Thanksgiving so as I stated I'm going to a UCF footbal game (the hurricane should be long gone by 7:00 pm Saturday and not coming home until Sunday afternoon.

I'll get my PoE updated sometime tomorrow evening and maybe start a new Essence League build for a few hours, get in a couple of hours Saturday morning, and then maybe a couple more Sunday evening if I'm not too timed from driving 3 hours to get home. Monday will be the main day I can play for more than a couple of hours if I want. If the weather is nice (not raining) and still breezy (it's always hot and humid in SW Florida this time of the year) I'll want to get some exercise and put in a few hours of yard work (raining makes the grass grow fast, I have some Brazillian Peppers than need cutting back, etc). If it's calm and feels like a sauna outside then I'm more likely to be in a mindset to play PoE.

So nothing that GGG can do (short of bringing back Cadiro Perandus as I play SSF) will increase my desire to play PoE more. Nothing GGG can do to increase my desire to play PoE more over other entertainment and family activities. GGG can cater to the top elites until Hell freezes over (or more likely gets drowned out from global warming and sea level rise) and alienate the 99% more and more and lose out on mtx. That's their prerogative.

I will play AoW with my faithful and still alive Kiwi pet companion some this weekend but the days of playing 5 to 8 hours at the start of a new league or major content update are over.

For someone who is so deadset on seeming like they don't enjoy this game, you sure do spend a lot of time on the forums complaining.

Meanwhile, I'll be enjoying my weekend doing something I enjoy. PoE.

I dont watch any sports besides UFC and we are in quite a lull. When I played football in HS i used to watch...ray lewis and whatnot anwyay im a little half breed azn and could not compete so i;m like fuck it. If im not playing I'm not interested.

It's good to get out on weekends tho whether it be a simple trip to the beach, back yard BBq or going all out on 3 day vacation to interact with friends and family. I do the game thing when nothing else to do.

Participating in races improves lvling time a lot, I find myself clearing acts at least 50% faster now that I participated in races last season, they're fun and improves game play.
