The problem with all these p2w posts are pointless though because of the next part after "better gear"

Winning is pretty arbitrary in this game so immediately after this point we devolve into 2 sides, p2w because winning is getting to higher levels and getting more gear faster, and the p4convenience side, where we believe that "winning" is personally chosen and not a label you can slap on everyone. Until one side caves, these are not making progress at all.

Sorry.... I haven't bothered to open my standard shop up since it was such a short time frame from league end to league start...

That's what I like about POE, you have the ability to create your own winning scenario. For some winning is having loads of currency and epic gears slapped into OP builds, facerolling any hard ass Boss GGG can throw at them. Others deemed reaching the ultimate level cap of 100 is a win. While others still, enjoys building their trading empire, controlling market values of valuable uniques and items, and accumulate thousands of exalts and millions of chaos orbs.

For a currency poor casual player like me, who love to create wonky builds and don't really like trading at the moment (because of no AH - for another thread), a win for me is reaching that shit build up to Piety in Merciless Act 4, killing her without dying so much along the way, and looking good while doing it. So if you ask me, yes POE is pay-to-win, why? I need my MTX gears to look good in order to win.

I also forgot to add that throwing the definition of p2w into the mix in general for any game doesn't help. Since there is no dictionary version of p2w other than urban dictionary, we kind of have to reverse Wikipedia's f2p definition:

So if p2w is roughly equivalent to pay 2 play for PoE, GGG restricts none of the game content behind paywalls. Can you trade and set up a shop thread with default 4 tabs? Yes. Will it be easier using Acquis or Procur? Again yes, will it be easiest to buy premium tabs? Hell yes, although some features of Acquisition are appreciated even with public tabs. Do you have easier time gearing for all this game's content as you go further down the line? Again, yes. However, somebody can easily come along and flip this around and say at some point this pattern converts to p2w rather than pay for convenience. Simply no progress to be made.

Try throwing one of those p2w tabs to Uber Atziri's face. You'll see.

OP you problem is not the tabs itself.

they are pay 2 win, but you most likely set them up as pay 2 greed.

If you overpriced your s**t then dont expect to make any profit.

I always put stuff lower than the lowest price on poe trade, and i sell all the time. Heck if you want to make a quick buck, just lower the prices even more, i did that end of the league, got like 10 ex worth of sales of bits and bobs within few hours i was in game

Ok guys, look. Let me explain you once and for all, why stash tabs giving you advantage aren't as bad as you think. I'm really tired of this thing being throw around over and over again, and people expecting GGG to be a charity.

Given you have free tools to trade, trade chat (which is, I'm fully aware of that) and so on, you can pretty much do all the thing Premium Stash tabs can do. All the advantage you get by using Premium Stash tabs is convenience, and because of that convenience - time.

Well, yes, it is, indeed. But really, how many of you are really being competitive in Leagues? How many of you aim to ladder, race to 100, or even race to challenges? Simple answer - not many of you. Average player doesn't give a single shit about these. So therefore, all the advantage you are getting is pretty much useless to you. Therefore, this transforms into convenience.

- But what if I'M COMPETING!?

Then be prepare to pay up. GGG is not a charity, and if you want to be competitive, expect to pay at least this minimum of minimums. Yes, this is pay2win in this territory, but if you expected to get EVERYTHING for free, be able to be competitive, stream (and thus make money out of it) and whatnot without ANY money involved, you are delusional. Keep in mind that this is PAY ONCE, BE COMPETITIVE FOREVER kind of thing. You're not paying for super-duper ammo, extra exp rate, extra drop rate or whatever.

So please, anyone arguing that these are terrible, false-advertisement, pay2win demons - stop being delusional. GGG is not your Angel from Heaven friend who is willing to work for your entertainment for free, and doesn't expect anything in return. ESPECIALLY if you are willing to make money off their game, which they allow.
