Am I the only one NOT Hyped?
" First, a 'revamped progression system' that eliminates the 3 difficulty leveling status quo isn't an endgame change. Improving uniques needs to be discussed in more detail, but many of the ones you don't get excited for are low level ones, this isn't fully an endgame change, and even if we credit it with being one, it certainly wouldn't change 'everything we know' about end game. If you expect us to believe that random bosses in maps is the missing piece...I mean come on. We already have random monsters, but random bosses. That's the thing that's gonna get you on board with changes and no longer complaining in every forum thread? Please. |

If they got rid of the 90% uniques you don't think are exciting and only left the 10% exciting ones, you'd complain that too few uniques drop.

" Then let the good uniques drop more. Problem solved. People can grind and enjoy the game without it turning into an endless race of attrition, pushing away the majority of regular players. As I've said before, you don't become a huge success like Diablo 2, lasting more than a decade by chaining people to a slow progression curve. You do it by making the combat and playing experience fun. Loot was fixed by slow bot detection on Blizzard's part. But with the buggy code in this game, not enough people are willing to make bots to fix the artificial item draught. Which makes the game incredibly tedious to play. Spreading the good elements as far apart as possible while shoving more filler content wherever it'll fit. Lag, lack of optimisation, bad coding in general make the combat unsatisfying. ggg knows this so they try and keep the final carrot out of reach for as long as possible so people won't realise. Long time players however see these things quite clearly and are getting very dissatisfied that ggg is so INCREDIBLY, AGONIZINGLY, MIND-NUMBINGLY slow about fixing it. Vote +1 to change Path of Exile to Path of Nerfs.
We hate to say, but ProjectPT was right. |

0 hype here. the word challenge league is a misnomer lately given how each new league has been making the game easier. its looking more and more like d3 with a worse game engine.

I was just supplying ideas on the spot. Don't take them as a "must change". My point was that the developers can change a lot if they set their mind on it.
I work in the online affiliation industry, and when a company has 0 creativity to promote itself, they hire 2 models with cleavage and call it a day. I'd say this expansion is exactly that. |

Honestly I don't care for a new league and new content, I m just praying for more stable servers but I think my prayers are not heard

After the fail of the new patch notes. Am I still the only one who is not hyped?

League starts at my birthday, I'll most likely be drunk the first days and don't have too much time to play after. So I'll skip next league I think.
