Stacked Deck is not a Currency!

Here I thought he was going to be logical about it and back up his claim with a reason. Silly me. It's not even the only currency that doesn't target an item. Portal Scrolls don't. Regrets don't. It's not the only one that creates an item. Mirrors do.

So, we really need a reason. Can anyone come up with a unique feature besides the drop rate of zero?
This thread wasn't meant to be taken literally. I'm just salty that the new currency can only be obtained from Divination Cards.

Not quite a zero drop rate but for all practical purposes it feels like it. The actual drop rate is "once in a blue moon" so:

How often is once in a blue moon?
"A Blue Moon happens on average about once every 2.7 years or 2 years, 8 months, and 18 days when two full moons will fall within the same month."

Since there are only 11 blue moon months between now and October 2039 it's as close to a zero drop rate as you can get and not be zero. Since Stacked Deck requires 9 cards that works out to be 9 x 2.716 = 24.44 years of playing PoE to get a full set. Holy shit!

Now you know how GGG sets the drop rates of the rarest items.
"You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.
