Diablo 3 - System revisions & Blue post discussion

They dumb shit down to the lowest common denominator. Because that will sell more then a game that is "hard", or even one that makes you use your fucking brain..because people dont want to use their brain, they want to be entertained! Skyrim sold more copies on the first day then both demon souls and dark souls to this point in time combined. Makes me goddamn sick to my fucking stomach. By the time d3 is released, it might as well be fucking angry birds. Would be about the same to me.

RANT ALERT for some reason vodka makes me rage
town portal & identify are good changes to the diablo 2 system.

Less annoyance to utilise them.

I must say though, I liked the original diablo better than it's sequel.

Usually you wouldn't get to identify items until you returned to town, which gave you a sense of excitement about 'what might this treasure be?'

Whereas, in diablo 2, you immediatly find out what something is if you care about it, using your 20xidentify scroll tome.

Remember people... console players need simple games. Keep it simple, stupid. Remove all complexity so we sell more on the console. Console is the where the money is, dumb everything down!
We have plenty of time, we can delay another year and blame Korea.
Many thanks to fantazmat for the beta key!

Diablo III Senior Game Producer Steve Parker announced via Twitter he is no longer working at Blizzard Entertainment. He didn’t specify the reason.

"Hey Twitter, I’m no longer working at Blizzard or on D3. I’ve had a great 5 years there and those guys are going to do an amazing job with Diablo.”

It’s unknown if his departure has a connection with the recent announcement of System Changes, or if the game is pretty much ready (except for the cleaning up process), and thus his work is finished and he’s moving on to other projects.

In a later tweet, Steve Parker commented “Thanks! Looking forward to bigger and better things.” Follow up comments via Twitter don’t show any hard feelings with the studios prompting to think he departed for personal reasons, and to explore other career opportunities.

White items will not be worth the inventory space. No one will pick them up. If people start picking them up we'll reduce the meaningless amounts of gold they already sell for even further. We can address these things if they happen.

I'm really starting to wonder in what direction are Blizzard trying to head D3 in.

The wrong one.

They forgot a long time ago they catered to hardcore gamers, and gamers alike. Now they're just in it for the money.

Assholes I tell you.

Boy am I sure glad to be here.
I also preferred Diablo 1 over 2 in all ways except Diablo 2 LANs was more enjoyable than Diablo 1 LANs (but only because the game was bigger in content).
I was realy looking forward to D3 was happy how game looked and played ,demon hunter was my prefered class and now i worry they gonna screw this game up

god knows what they going to do to runes

TP not so bad 1 less scroll to carry

identfiy own items with timer ,now that just stupid idea

cube and cauldren Hmmmmm tough call yes suppose i can live without this .Will have to be more selective on items picked up. but white items can,t be broken for mats any more anyway

stats renamed hmmmm generic choice for consloe players,as i see it they changing game to suit consoles .sad realy

POE hope this is success :)

also got hopes for grimdawn and Lineage Eternal
It is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it.
