Ya'll have special names for some of the monsters you encounter often?

i call those rock pile monsters, "gorignaks". that should be obvious.

for that multistriking groundslammer rogue exile (xandro blooddrinker, i think) when i meet him in a high-level map: "fuck, no!" (it is both what i say, and what i call him.)

Fucking snake (annoying snake)
Fucking Bameth (Bameth)
Fucking bird (bird)

etc.

Don't really have too many of them, aside from using '*map name* boss' instead of the proper names of most map bosses, or characterizing some by their dangerous attacks ('chargers' for all charging enemies, 'leapers' for frog chimeras, 'flicker spiders', etc). You know, generic stuff, nothing with a personal flair or esoteric meaning.


But I do have one:

"Coward" - Daresso. Cuz yeah, the "legendary" "duelist" even in his own dreams has to hide behind magical swords that do way more damage than he does. Also sometimes called 'Wannabe Swordking'.
