It's interesting in this day and age of forums. How enabling people find it to judge others. Then they go out of their way to try and tear the people they have decided to judge apart.

The amount of hate and jealousy spouted off in this post because someone expresses how he feels about a game and makes a generous donation to a great group of programmers. Is truly sad.

Personally vanwavanwa and others who have posted in the same tone. It's none of your business what someone does with their hard earned money. If all you can do is continue to spout the hate and ignorance of your prior posts. What was the purpose? What was the life altering point you are trying to make?

Seriously why is it so important that your opinion dominate someone else? Wouldn't it be better to just agree to disagree and let it go at that?

Plenty of room for both.

Even if D3 does enjoy greater financial success, the GGG team is still winning in all kinds of other ways that make this far from a "waste of time." They're getting to build the game they want, the way the want it, and on their own terms. Just based on the beta so far I'm sure the experience and results will pave the way for many future successes and opportunities for them.

Blizzard was a small company once too. Seemed to work out OK for their founders.

just a case of another whiny blizzard fan boy trying to say that because blizzard has a semi-good track record there going to swamp this game. theres a lot of differences between this game and diablo that will lure different demographics to it. the most important difference is the f2p model which is amazing for a game like this. some people cant afford to drop 60 dollars on a game and these people will turn to POE. and another good point would be the art styles. this game has a much more "realistic" atmosphere while diablo takes a more "cartoony" look.

This is truly the d3 game. The "real" one is just torchlight with more colours :X
