I don't know why I am bothering to feed the troll here, yet I have a simple but very important observation to make : Considering Diablo III will cost in excess of £30.00 + to purchase and PoE is essentially free to download, my predictions consist that PoE will always have a dedicated following regardless of ratings Diablo III may have.

The issue is I have yet to try Diablo III and alot of changes I have read about consist of areas that I thought worked incredibly well on Diablo II, why fix something that is not broken type of philosophy, again this is theory until I get the chance to play. Path of Exile on the other hand is a pickup and go type game a great and yet future proof idea that will be here as long as the servers hold up, regardless of what the OP states.

To be honest with you, just looking at the forums over at blizzard, tells the story of what type of players we will most likely be brushing shoulders with, I wish I could say good things about them, yet the majority of them seem to me like they are blizzard employee's who are stuck so far up blizzards arse they remind me of the creature from John Carpenters, The Thing.

Sorry if this offends anyone here, but I am only stating the truth :P.

Your post isnt offensive it just states an opinion. And most of it I agree with.

Lately Blizzard have gone mad with their games and make far too many changes. In my opinion they ruined WoW. I used to love that game but they constantly change things in it and there was no consistancy.

Im guessing that D3 will be the same but I cannot judge the game when ive not even played it yet. This is what im trying to point out to people who are hating this game when they have zero play time on it.

Dont knock it untill you try it. >.O

You can buy gear with real money, dont have more to say about D3. This is Shit.

When PoE is open, you can buy gear + orbs + gems from 3rd party site, dont have more to say about PoE. This is Shit.

You said that, 3rd party, no the company so it will be ilegal and you can win a ban.
Thats a stupid comment, Diablo 3 will probably be a bust, just like Duke Nukem!

I've played through the Diablo 3 beta a few times and while I'm still excited about it, I don't think it's going to be good enough to keep PoE down. I think there's plenty of room for both games to coexist. OP sounds like a frustrated child.
D3 is PAY TO WIN. Why bother playing.
"It feels like holding my breath under water constantly." Me about the limited "life expectancy" of the inventory space on Path of Exile and frequent needs to go to town to unload.

This says it best. Both games will be good, both have their ups, downs and Fanboys.

There are enough people with computers in this world for both games to thrive, and who says people can't just play both? I know I will. Get bored of one, switch to the other until that ones boring, rinse and repeat

This is what I always think. A good number of people will more than likely dabble in both, even if they favor one over the other. And besides, a good backup is always good to have on hand for whatever the reason.
