Diablo III will crush this game...hell with ur beta!

if diablo 3 is cool why shouldn't another game be like it? what's the problem? i think if something is cool it should be copied.

Threads like this are completely ignorant. Blizzard cornered the gaming market, this is a well known fact, but that doesnt mean PoE wont be awesome.

Some people will only play Diablo, some people will only play PoE, some people will play both.

Still, the core of OP's post is sound (if poorly composed). This game is generating a lot of beta invite interest right now because people are looking for a fix with the D3/TL2 delays. That interest will wane considerably at the point either title launches. It doesn't mean this game is or isn't good, but the devs are going to have to capitalize on the buzz they have right now if there's going to be any long-term success.

People will continue to play if they are invested in the game already, but those beta invites will rot in their inboxes once they have other options. Flooding the servers to the point of failure obviously isn't an option, but if some people are to be believed, it's entirely possible to have followed this game for 6-8 months without obtaining a key. That's a serious failure on their beta system.

This game is more Diablo than Diablo 3 is.

I dont plan to play D3 at all, PoE is a awesome game made by a small group & its their first title.

I think its great that GGG is managing to get such a response from blizzard and its affiliates, Just goes to show you independent teams can still take on the big dogs and cause a ruckus.

Idie titles are rising in ranks and it scares the big corporations that a few friends can band together and create something to compete.

If you dont agree with this then why are you here complaining about PoE? Why do you feel the need to speak out Against GGG? Are you being paid to do so? Are you really that scared that PoE will succeed?
