A clone will always be horrible.
Casuals? This game will just be a 1-3 skill SPAM. The skill tree is ridiculous, it's just bunch of passives. Take at look at D3 skill rune system, now that's revolutionary unlike this FFX skill tree crap. Even TL2 will be better than this game. |

awww you poor deluded child trying to kid yourself that anything in d3 is revolutionary, its all been done before, only better.
I also find his hilarious when people start screaming clone, you realise swtor is a clone of wow, wow is a clone of ultima and all the MMOs before it, and every shooter is a clone of whatever the first shooter was (doom? not sure on shooter history). This is a gothic style mass slaughter dungeony game (not sure what the specific genre name is =p) so it looks like those type of game, or perhaps you would like to design them a much better way of doing the health for example. And while your on about revolutionary, how about the flasks or the skill forest, or the skill gems. Then again lets give dia3 some credit, they have a revolutionary money grubbing scummy system! The real money auction house will ensure that anybody with more money than you will always be better and it will be great to see the massively overpriced essential items that everybody with money buys up to resell at stupid prices. Still if you want to play your badly made completely generic money grubbing power selling game go ahead, you seem to have the IQ of the average D3 fanboy (not quite 3 figures but your getting there! |

SWToR is a horrible WoW clone it will go F2P in a few months.
POE is a horrible clone as well, everything else is horrid aside from being F2P game. I guess they won't sustain the server maintenance cost and they probably turn this one as a facebook game in the near future. lol |

And theres the proof is any was needed that this guy is just a scared blizzard dev trying to stop his company going down the toilet as people realise they just make shoddy games now and try to cover it up with under handed tactics like trolling the forums of any rival game and buying up all advertising space at the time of release of rival games.
I'm willing to bet that when poe is near release we will see tons and tons of D3 or WoW ads... same thing happened when warhammer online was released same when Rift was released.... if they spent half the time they did on their scummy underhanded tactics on making their games maybe they could make a good game for once instead of shoddy crap and relying on the devs of old (those who made diablo 1 and the old warcrafts) |

" I am intrigued by you Mr/Mrs Diablo :) You seem to be a fellow with fast knowledge and in-depth check on most ARPG out there. And also other titles ! And that is always good when stating what does and does not work in the industry atm. So how would one do to improve the game to a suitable standard if you , yourself , would re-design the game ? I am a mere Beta tester , and have not seen the final product. So i can only know so-much. As stated of you before that a re-design of the game would make it up to pair with Diablo 3 standards , i am just filled with curiosity of what these steps could be ? And what results we could se with them :) Are there any special points of the game you feel are lacking ? Or could just use a fine tuning ? Grind Gear Games may be new on the work floor , but i believe the marked could possible be big enough for more then some ARPG´s , would you not agree ? And as we all know who work with improving a business.
