Lightning Witch lvl 51, why low dps? Spark/shock totem?

I'm curious why you're bothering with crit at all. Ice Witches have an excuse because of Ice Spear but for lightning, it's not really necessary. This is because of Shock. Sure, you shock more with crits but going heavily into crit detracts from either damage, utility, or survivability.
IMO, crit on lightning really isn't necessary. Static Blows + quality gems is all you really need. If you're reading this, I'm probably on another year-long ban.

i don't really understand how you have 400 DPS on your spark totems at level 51
i have a little more than 400 DPS and i'm level 76 and have a lot of damage passives, lvl 17 spark and am not missing THAT much damage from items (with very expensive stuff like 5exalt + on rings/amulet/weapon/shield i'd probably have less than 600) and 400 dps on dual spark totems is enough to melt everything solo and do a lot of damage in parties Last edited by 1235#4407 on Feb 20, 2013, 8:00:45 PM

" I don't think I have said I got 400 dps at spark totem. I got close to 200dps right now. Maybe you mean shocknova totem I had? It gave 700 dps. But did not work well for me. |
