Map Trials only for special Players?

I don't know whats going on here, but since start of 2.3 I found only 2 Trials in standard. And I am just doing Maps.
Yesterday I did around 20 T10-12 Maps: none. Today I did 10 T6-9 Maps: None.
I was only able to complete the trials with the help of the community. And there are guys who got trials in every second map.

Beside: why does GGG always make the same mistakes over and over? With Atziri they experienced a huge player-base unsatisfied with the need to run story-areas. They had to change that.
With Talisman they experienced the annoyance to seek and find a portal for the Talimans. They had to change that.

So why the hell do they once again let RNG rule the trials? Why? I don't want to rely on RNG and run endless Game-Content to "possibly" be able to have access to another Gome-content. :(

it took me about 370 maps on solo to get all these done :C

I have noticed a higher spawn rate of trials in lower tear maps (T1-T3). Try a bunch of those and see if you have the same results.

I seem to get a trial once every 5-7 maps or so...

Unfortunately the best way to find trials is to hang out in global 820 looking for freebies. If you don't do that, prepare for a really long grind to get all 6.

On the plus side, once you finally get all 6 self-found you'll have a ton of the offering things from doing all the duplicate trials.

I got all 6 in less then 24 hours in the new league, granted it seems like they "nerfed" the spawn rate since that first day.

didn't it read in some patch/dev note that the trials would appear in low level maps?

Chris stated they will all appear in yellow or lower maps. I don't know if that was more intended that you dont have to do red maps to get all the trials or that trials don't appear in red maps. I think its the first, rather then the later.

Right that indicates the first, but doesn't exclude the second directly either.


Just because they all occur in lower maps, doesn't mean that they don't also spawn in higher ones. I know I've gotten some in T9 maps, but I haven't done enough higher level maps to get them in those, even if they do spawn there.

I had a trial in a Conservatory map the other day. They may appear in lower level maps, but they also appear in at least T14 maps. This was on Standard, if it matters.
