decided to buy some and continue buying until 2 lesser desired items appear in a row: what can i say, i ended up buying over 30 boxes and also got all the box exclusive stuff which i wanted. on a related note: while i understand you need to put some incentive behind people buying these boxes, i really don't like buying alot of stuff to get the exclusive mtx. additionally, the amount of mtx i have now let's me wish you had already implemented the mtx improvements. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill! How is it possible to get 4 of the same item in a row when there are 31 different items?? Such BS! Sure it's fixed in some way.. So certain trash effects have a higher chance of rolling than the big ticket items so you can spend more. Nothing random about it. I love all you people that comment on randomness but have no actual goddamned clue how it works. Let's see here and here might provide some help. Also, weighted randomness (the box outcomes) is still randomness. Every single drop in PoE is based on a weighted random, that's what rarity tiers are all about. I spend the rest of my points (2500) on the boxes and got at least each set. I really like the Obsidian Set paired with the exalted weapon effect on my dual wielding toon.
