Kintsugi Exquisite Leather mechanics could be better

No but it will reduce them indirectly by reducing the hit creating the dots (in case of Bleed, Burn and Poison). it won't reduce chaos cloud, S&H lazer beam, Dominus Frost Totem and the lab traps who don't hit you.

its a really good armour, but u need to build for it. Either dodge or block for both spells and attacks would seem somewhat necessary to get the most out of it. Its a proper evasion armour, you dont need more evasion than it gives tbh, evasion scales so well. On the right build its better than a coil, I feel like its a bow chest that could also work for big aoe melee or a caster who specced down the right side.

Much needed alternative to coil for evasion bow users, needs to stay in the game one way or another.

I feel like they should make icons showing the status of if youve been hit recently and if you havent been hit recently, that way you can manage some of the damage intake better by knowing when it is and isnt up.

Agree about images. It is hard to manage chest ability, but I use my ES recharge from Trickster for it. Full evasion/almost full dodge/hybrid melee crit 2h sword build. Made merciless lab at 70lvl with first try. But full block with aegis still much more safer for melee.

but it's very decent for a big eva build + good dodge.

ihmo it's straight designed for Dodge/Eva Build. You could even go full Dodge + Iron Reflexes, dodging most of the stuff and countering the heavy hits when it fail you (I plan to do a perma phasing raider with it and the new items at some point).

Agreed. It's been clear for a few years that GGG does not want block to be combined with Dodge ever since that massive nerf.

Which sucks because it has always left EV melee in a hole.
