Prior to this patch, all you had to do was fiddle with your sound settings to re-enable sound. Restarting wasn't necessary. For example, with my client, I just switched audio drivers, then back to the original and, the sound returned.

The sound issue where NPC "hello" and "goodbye" dialog is muted has not been fixed by this patch. I restarted, heard a greeting a single time - and then never again.

I hope the hideous lag spikes get fixed soon.. everything was working well before this expansion. ><
Also, this update DID require a Steam client update. |
