Who else is not going to play PoE anymore because of the lab?
every 3rd thread is about that lab... if you dont like it - DONT FARM LAB! Simply as it is!

If the tumor isn't removed from vital areas of the game for them, the game will die to them (and if enough people don't like it and start playing less, or quitting, or supporting the game with money), then the game could very well die. So, no, it's not a melodramatic statement... it's quite fitting. |

What we need is some sort of chemotherapy that gets rid of lab haters. This doctor prescribes a fifth labrynth and even more traps.

" Nice analysis of the said analogy sir. GJ Just one thing i want to remind people of, with the new prophecy league and the changes GGG wanted to counter the power creep of ascendancies and they did. If you look closer to the patch notes you will see that the game will be more and more balanced around ascendancies :

" did i ever say that i enjoy reading your posts. well, i do. thanks for making my day. i'm always amazed how players who can sink hundreds of hours mindlessly grinding repetitive content like maps can get repelled by doing three 15 minute runs through some easy repetitive content. ### and regarding "that's not the game i originally signed onto": neither of us long term players experienced anything different. the worst change has been when ggg turned around 180° and killed any competition in the game by introducing permanent loot because of some permanent forum whiners. that was a change to existing content worth raging, not your easy peasy 3 or 4 itzaro runs which just got added. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill! To answer the op´s question:
Me, if they dont change it. Because, a ascendancy class is (now) mandatory for me to play and progress in a acceptable time. I liked playing Frogger at my first games console "Philips G7000" but POE Lab is a pain in the ass for me. I´m to old to play things that I dont like.... A chance that GGG change it? I dont think so. The older players could remember, we needed 1000 pages of discussions, that GGG give us the choise to chose now our loot allocation... Chris wanted some hc feeling in sc, fine, it is his game. But I dont like it anymore. |
