A character with this name already exists

When I logged back in (after 2 or so years), some of my character names had been freed up, and others hadn't. I think the newer ones were not 'liberated'.
Some of those names had been taken, but for other characters I just re-entered the same name and it worked fine. Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:

Thanks everyone i will try your suggestions. I had tried generic names without numbers every time.
