POE, AKA the game where random guys do GGG's job

No idea what OP means by the title and the first post but.

As this was a crowd funded game and well, still is (cough...pay2trade....cough) but more or less based on selling people overpriced mtx's, the crowds will always be a big part of the game.
Game designers need testing and we are here to provide the data pool for GGG to make future changes that's how it works.

This is a Diablo clone, just like any other hack and slash game out there, as diablo was the first major title that everyone played and loved (or hated).

This game like any other hack and slash game is about mindless grinding and item collecting.

Races, leaderboards and mini leagues are just a niche product for few people who actually want to race to the top. As there is no real leaderboards for various things (like in d3 for example) this is more of a leisure way to kill time or unwind yourself after a hard day in work.
YES I support the game, NO I don't agree with many GGG decisions

Lab still sucks balls.

I miss Zana already.

and i don't think there are many other games running a public web service which feeds external clients with ingame info. if there are any at all.

EVE Online has a quite extensive public API. I can't think of any other off the top of my head, but I'm sure there are more.

ah, i see. thanks for pointing me to it.

the thing is, due to my restricted free time i didn't really play other games beside poe in the last 3 years. which proves as quite a mistake when it comes to arguing over matters like this. but it's never too late to change.

age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!
