I started playing this game in HC made it to 74 first time bunch of mid 80s before I learned it just not worth it. Well, you mostly need patience and perseverance. And a PC/net which don't freeze ofc. I actually never get freezes nowadays. My problem is that I tend to get bored around level 90 and if I'm in SC, I just reroll. If in HC, I start doing stupid shit and die soon afterwards. You have to be realistic about these things. Oh, chrome stories. I got five offcolour on a pure armour chest with a 190-ish str requirement yesterday while I was trying to roll 3 offcolour. I was seriously tempted to just sell it as a rarity but needed the six-link. Also got 4R sorcerer boots recently while going for 2 or 3 offcolour. I think I actually abandoned an entire character and rerolled once because of chromes. Had to hit a specific combination with 4 offcolour on a lightning coil, a thousand or so chromes later I just rerolled. You have to be realistic about these things.
