FUGS is where its at its got a great move set but Zweihander is a close second thats probably going to have a higher AR when I hit lvl 200. Im sad poise does nothing I was really looking forward to using the Gundyr armor set but might as well go with something a lot lighter.

So anyone else hate those Jailers?

Six or more in a room makes for a fun time! I hate their mechanic, but at least it's not semi-permanent like Curse used to be.


I'm almost done with my first run through the game (or at least it feels like I'm getting close), and I gotta say this just might be the best of the series for me. From a PvE perspective, that is - I'm not into PvP. I plan on playing DeS, DS, and DS3 back-to-back once I run through this a few times. Skipping DS2, though. After playing through DS3, DS2 just feels even more out of place.

Just finished NG. Yep, best in the series. My run-in with a particular grandiose boss really cemented that sentiment. I can't think of another boss encounter from DeS, DS, DS2, and Bloodborne that comes close to it. I can see myself five years from now starting up a new game just to get to that part again.
