Question for seasoned players ab freeze with arc

Ive done some research and kind of have an idea how this works but im not sure. I would just ise cold spells to freeze but i relly havent found one i like the way i do arc and vaal stormcall. So i e seen vids where ppl freeze with arc. Now im going non crit here and call brotherhood i cannot afford. I have read up on three dragons and it sounds inefficient. I need to stack chance to freeze and freeze duration correct? I could use a curse to add freeze chance but that would make the cold pen useless and cold dmg nodes useless. Pretty much is there a reliable way to freeze and shock with light damage noncrit using arc? Ele prolif could spread the shit so i would t need to do a shit ton of damage to apply it. I can afford some gear itll just be a long time b4 i can get a call brotherhood

if you dont have crit. Thats what all the shock nodes are for.

Try to get the quality of your arc gem up, prob get a cheap 10% for a C

Shock nodes wont work light damage cant shock

With three dragons on, all your shocks turn into freezes.

So if i have 50percent chance to shock that makes ot 50 percent chance to freeze???? Everything ive read says it doesnt work that way

no it does not turn shock into freeze. It only changes what element can do what. you need freeze chance to freeze, what damage type causes freeze is irrelevant

If you want to have arc freezer without the crit. You would need call of the brotherhood, frostbite curse and hypothermia.

Ok so three dragons needs crit? Or can i freeze with arc if i stack freeze chance? Id use brotherhood if i could but i cant cause it costs more than an abducted white woman by the mexican cartel
