Ascendancy Points + Enchantments ;)

Engaging the content should be reward enough by itself if it's well designed (you can disagree on this with me, of course). I find the labyrinth fun by itself. Also, Ascendancy Points and enchants are powerful rewards, and some of the treasure chests at the end can give a lot of stuff per run, so it's not an absence of profit. You can sell enchants too. Homo economicus and all that shit. This mirrors the "maps feel unrewarding" threads out there. What matters is to have fun with the game, experience and profit are a nice bonus to it. " It's obvious you are too powerful for the content then, the labyrinth is more fun with less overleveling. Try Izaro with many mods then for more profit and challenge? " Then don't go for enchants, buy them from someone else at the apropiated price. No one is forcing you, as no one forced you to farm sacrifice fragments. Outside Ascendancy points there is no requeriment to run the labyrinth. Hell, pay someone else to do it. Remember that you need 1400 runs to guarantee an enchant on an item. You could learn some politeness. GGG is not a bunch of assholes you can thrash gratuituously. Why cant they reply to 1 thread in that exist? Or even more why have not they put 1 unique thread in each section? For example there is a topic about labyrinth trap but there is no indication that I want to learn about them. Same with bitching topic, i am sure they could come up with one genuine complain for example disconnecting in labyrinth cause you to re-run the whole thing. It would make sense, as threads introduced in each forum section could be less complaining. But more important it would not be BORING and REPETITIVE as hell. Second, its even more boring, as there is completely no point in what so ever if you post the threads, therefor there is no reason to try and reply to it unless you are 100% sure that you will troll it. As you are outtrolled and outflamed to make sure you can troll it the only rewards is just bigger epeen. You are done with your epeen after 3 posts (that will take more or less 30-45min). Third forum are boring, i never even post in them, sometimes i just complain about everything, so what? I use complain posts to spice up and keep complaining. Great idea, slows, stuns and so on sadly it dose not matter because all the complains are 20 levels below me and they do no damage. The only reason to complain is to get attention.So basically 10-15min post where i one-post everything and don't care, no respect and 1 in 400 chance to get the change i want. I totally agree that Labyrinth is boring once your build is sufficiently over-leveled to make for face rolling all content. It would be much better if GGG started with the base 3 difficulty levels but if you have leveled above that base map level with your build then the Lab map level will match your build level. That way GGG can re-tune the mobs and boss to the actual map level as that would equal the build level and thus there can be no way or need to over-level and face roll everything. The added benefit to setting the Lab difficulty level equal to the build level is that we can make a daily Lab run and get good exp. from it. GGG would definitely need to set a cap of maybe 3 runs per day, otherwise we could just run the Lab forever and dismiss mapping entirely. Also, running high level Labyrinth maps with an endgame build also satisfies the need to have high content difficulty for the elite players. GGG would be killing two birds with one stone.

" Did cruel lab for the first time yesterday, went though it in a single try and looted 6 uniques (+1 unique jewel), with only 3 useless ones. This felt like perfect for "instant gratification addicts", tons of loot, first major ascendency skill, free enchant, lots of orbs, etc. (and I'm doing them with VP, so can't pot my way through) Think the labyrinth is an interesting idea, but I don't see myself enjoy running it too many times. Smashing hordes of mobs is why I went back to PoE. |
