FPS drops when I have a video open on YouTube

I often listen to playlists on YouTube, but it's impossible for me with this game. I keep having FPS drops constantly if I have a YouTube videos running. Anyone can help?

Right click the youtube video, click Settings, and try unchecking Hardware Acceleration. See if that helps.

It helps a bit, but the drops are still frequent. This has never happened to me with any other game. I do it all the time while playing LoL or SC or just about anything else.

Try using grooveshark.. totally free and can listen to almost any song you can think of, and no commercials.

It's pretty bad, I'm planning to upgrade soon, but I haven't had any other problems so far. PC Specs: Microsoft Windows XP 32bit Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E8500 @ 3.16GHz 4GB RAM(But actually only 3GB are used due to 32bit limitations) NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT |

Did you try to lower the resolution on youtube to lowest?
Since you only listen you don't need higher. |

Same here. If i listen to a youtube playlists FPS drops SOMETIMES siginificant. Sometimes tabbing out and in helps, sometimes not. No real problem for me as a summoner, so i never investigatet on that...
Usually i play with rockstable 60 FPS. This drops to something between 10 and 20. Internet connection is 6.000, so by far enough for a simple musicstream without video and a game. I think this has something to do which task is priorized by the system (Win 7 Ultimate)... |
