50/50 Failed to connect to instance since last patch

My concern is: NO OTHER GAME DISCONNECTS!

I can play games housed in servers in both Aust and all over NA and not disconnect, which means that if it is a routing problem (intermittent fault in one of the intervening providers) it HAS to be IMMEDIATELY in front of the POE servers.

I mean... there isnt a lot between us, even from WA.

I am sitting there during the 20 sec DC and watching both sent and recv going up in lockstep. No packet loss during the DC.

I then attempt to log in and CANNOT (a normal occurance after this problem). During this: NO PACKET LOSS.

After a moment (totaling about 1 min since start of disconnect, during which winMTX showed not one packet being dropped anywhere) I can reconnect like normal.

I dont think "power cycling my modem" or "restarting my computer" will help either... so please dont suggest them... and please dont ask me to contact my ISP again because I have.

It isnt the firewall that isnt running or the NAT that is (cringe) dissabled and in diagnostic wide-freaking-open mode.

It started 30 mins after the latest significant patch, I know because I was playing, patched and started playing again and started DCing. I have been DCing for nearly 2 weeks.

Please... keep searching... there is a problem.

Still happening. Unlike some of these people though, I had absolutely zero issues until after the crazy lag spikes last night. Figured the servers were still acting up so I stopped playing for the night but still having the same issue today.

Left my modem unplugged for around 30 mins earlier but no change. Everything else is fine outside of PoE.

Looks like an issue with the internal telstra network, they have been having issues more frequently recently, I work in networking and feel sorry for your tech support team who has to deal with them.

Judging by the posts on Telstra's support page with people having similar issues it seems to be an issue with Telstra.

Hope they get it sorted soon.
