Templar Armor

I'm picturing Gandalf: a sword in one hand and a staff in the other, kicking ass with both of them.
I think Gandalf has nothing common with Templar class.
Why not?
Gandalf - mage with sword
Templar - also mage with some weapon
Templar should wear heavier armor than Gandalf archetype does. Gandalf if more like male witch.
Speaking this resembles the "paladin class" expect to see some simliar traits.

I cant wait personally, I was a huge fan of my Hamerdin, maybe a Hammplar is due? haha :P
Exactly. Templar is more like a paladin to me too.
To me Templar is like paladin. Good fighter with access and ability to wield pretty much any weapon ingame. medium++ armor, but definetly not full plate topnotch armor.
Forthat there is his faith to buff him.
I'd like if it was possible to make a shield-wielding high-def type templar, or a 2h, hard-swinging atk-type templar.. but I hope these options already are ingame..
IGN: Naforce
judgement armor? ^^
damn paladins
Yeah im in agreement with the D2 Paladin/Templar similarity, i want high armor, badass shield, and sick ass hammer. With auras and some nasty sheild charges and what not. I cannot wait to get into this beta
