Energy Shield's Stun mitigation doesn't stack with Chance to Avoid Stun because it's a different mechanic altogether: ES negates the effects of a Stun 50% of the time, so it happens after the Avoid Stun check.
Avoid Stun is Avoid Stun, it will stack additively. :) |

May someone please explain how for exemple " 80% chance to Avoid being Stunned if you've Killed Recently" would work with a CI ES build? I didn't get it from the post above, since I'm relatively new to game mechanics. |

Energy shield has an implicit bonus to avoid getting stunned, 50%, multiplicative (if you still have ES after the hit which would stun you).
So if you have 80% chance to avoid being stunned if you've killed recently, and you *have* killed in the last 4 seconds, and you're CI so you must always have ES left after getting hit (or you're dead), then in total you have a 90% chance to avoid getting stunned by a hit that would normally stun you (until the 4 seconds are up if you haven't killed again). Note that despite being CI, not every hit would normally stun you--your "effective HP" for the purposes of stuns is still the HP you would have if you didn't take CI. If that didn't make enough sense then I'm sure vipermagi can explain more clearly, he always does :P |

I see now, I appreciate your help. My life is pretty low without CI.. So, I think that the stun enchantment may be the best one to have for my specific build, since one of the down sides of ES builds is the stun. What do you think? |
