Poe eats my CPU and RAM?

Hey, since the newest expansion poe eats all my CPU and my RAM (16GB) - after like 10 hours my RAM is at 100% just because of poe :o, so I have to restart my PC every few hours to "reset" this process.

http://imgur.com/0M1RABi - just an example... me staying in the city my CPU goes from 30% up to 100% randomly - and my RAM already at 50% with only chrome and POE running.

Normally my CPU should be at max 30-40% with about 30% of my ram RAM being used.

What exactly happened to poe and when will it be fixed?

The upcoming patch may fix some things:

When not crashing my RAM usage for just PoE on lower graphics is around 3GB+ on average (with the gc command).

Also switching instances a lot (like through rotating masters a lot) within a very small timewindow = high chance of crashing without the -gc command.

Update:
However, it seems you only have ~2.5GB of total RAM? That's REALLY low. You might want to consider upgrading your RAM.

The game is normally sitting at 2 gig all to itself, always has been like that, going much over like 2.5 to 3 gig is not normal and it's something thats being addressed.

Also 2GB is nothing. I had it go up to ~10GB (minus 3GB for windows). And when not crashing my RAM usage for just PoE on lower graphics is around 3GB+ on average (with the gc command).

Well its not like its really only 2 GB.... my RAM is at 81% (I have 16GB RAM, I also wrote that in the main post) with the same programs running as 6 hours earlier

Bump still an issue.

Spoiler
I love you ggg but its really unacceptable to have such a massive memory leak for so long. And I mean its been an issue since Ascendancy launched. Did no one notice during the Ascendancy Alpha and you've spent the last week trying to fix it? I shouldn't have to restart my computer every time I finish playing POE. That's horseshit.

I see a problem here. Looking at your screen shots PoE is taking up 1,300Mb and the the pc is using 56% at that time. Then in the second shot PoE is using 2,300Mb and the pc is at 81%. That's about 1,000Mb for a 25% increase. If everything else was exactly the same then that would mean you only have 4Gb or RAM. Now you've stated otherwise so my question is this: What else do you have running that is taking up so much ram?
i don't get it. I played from act 2 in one session and killed after all dominus ... enter act 4 and BOOM you have not enough Memory?! I have 8 GB and my task manager said 100% used... over 5 gb used for POE. WTF is wrong with 2.2 ... i also have big problems with fps since that update. When i come around a pernandus chest i go from 120 fps to 5 and almost die every time from that laggs. It's totally annoying.

i have to correct it ... i have 16 GB RAM

my RAM (16GB)

From the second screenshot I may assume you're using 32-bit version of OS, in which memory is capped at 4gb top.

That's why 2.2gb is making up that 83%.

If you're indeed using 32-bit Windows, AND you have 16gb ram, you really should switch over to 64-bit version.
