Even though the thread starter EXPLICITLY writes that he doesn't want the points for free, you're using the word 5-6 times. In you first post. Do you really feel - and be honest now - that this post, as one of the first post in this thread, is a good example of starting a civil, constructive discussion?

And it's not the only one on the first page with this "tone". So if we are to throw arounf "blame" for what this thread has become, well, there's always more than one side to every story.

He had to write that because the initial title and premise of this thread was a shitpost, then it seem to have some good ideas, but instead of narrowing down the view of ideas he literally will add anything that isn't the status quo, which is not helpful in my mind, because you want to narrow something down and have a better idea to purpose to GGG, not a massive list that has no actual bearing.


IIRC one of the early podcast regarding the topic, Chris referred to ideas in this very thread, I tried to get people to focus on that sort of thing and get OP to get people to target something that we think would be ok (as in both sides), instead its just a rant list.


IIRC the original post had the alternative way to get points being killing malachai, something you have to do 2\3 times already now. Something that doesn't require you to do anything different then what you are expected to do, given the power increase this gives you, its unacceptable to give you such a massive power boost, without massive rebalance of the game for free, especially so early.


So don't expect anything good on the first few pages, because until later he didnt change the title or a significant amount of the body.

He is one of those people where the only option in his mind for GGG to do to make him satisfied would be to make it so he never has to do the lab again. I don't think that is good for the game and I don't think its good for GGG.


I think another point worth waiting for some more information is how the lab plays on the xbox 1, I was hoping the beta would start for that really soon, so I could try it out on my brothers system, but it seems like it won't be out by the 3rd, so the soonest I would visit him again would be the first week of august. I'm really interested to see how the game feels with the controller, including the lab.
