SET FREE THE ASCENDANCY POINTS (or rework the lab) [New ascension methods/lab rework ideas]

After all this time no word from GGG about the Lab. This is sad.The Lab have their champions and Lab haters have theirs but for a Company to go silent on the issues is just freaking dumb. GGG gives something on almost any issue but .......LAB.


I hate the lab as well and do not want to deprive others who like that game play but GGG you do not need to gate the points behind such game play.

Give options for the Asc points. That is all we are asking for. GGG swallow your ego, use the suggests and give another way to get them.

If you cant get them you dont deserve them. If you dont like how you have to get them dont get them. They are not mandatory. People played the game fine before Ascendancy you can continue to play it the same as it was.

If you want them find a way to get them. Theres no word from GGG because Lab is not a Problem that needs Fixing. It is exactly the way it was intended and the minority disliming it was already known before they even released it. All you are doing is confirming their expectations, not exceeding it.

If you want change, you are going to have to get vocal support from more than half the player base. If not you are wasting your breath, and time.

This isn't presidential elections mate. All we need to do is show GGG that there is disdain towards lab. Things have changed for less than 300 pages or 51% of the playerbase or 260+ threads on one matter.

All we need to do is inform GGG about the issue we are having, explain what exactly the issue is and if we go as far to even make suggestion for it, then we will have done more than what should be expected from the players of a game.

The same people posting on the topic over and over again are not going to change it, if that was the case it would have already been changed.

Your best hope is that it gets changed with act 5, however chances of that happening aren't really any higher then it being changed this last patch, but by all means keep shitposting on the forums, its worked for you guys so far. O wait no it hasn't.

No one gives 2 fucks if you dislike the lab, I don't care, GGG doesn't care and if its means that much to you just quit the game or don't do the lab, checking back every new major patch to see if they changed it.

3-3-2 is the most logical approach and probably one of the easier ways to change it, but who knows, does it ultimately matter if the lab doesn't get changed itself?

Jgizle, please let me enlighten you on the reality of the situation here. GGG is a company for profit that makes a video game. They do what they want to do. What they want to do is to be a successful company. The best way for them to be successful is to produce a fun game that many people like to play. They have done that rather successfully up to this point. Which leads me to predict that they will continue to try to do that into the future. Labyrinth is a problem that needs fixing from the point of view of a significant portion of their user base. What this portion actually is is not quantitatively known by anyone. However, it doesn't need to be more than 50% for it to be fixed. You seem to be confusing democracy with the above described reality. A democracy is a form of government which is different from a company. GGG will eventually put fixing labyrinth into their plans because they want to be a successful company and that action would be progress in furtherance of that goal. This game has averaged over 15k concurrent players on steam alone this league. Assuming that the average player plays 4 hours per day or less that represents 90k players on the steam client per day. At the absolute most 100 of those 90k players have come to the forums to complain about the lab. What percentage of GGG's revenue stream do you think the lab haters represent?
