Everquest (In It's earlier days)

Age has changed that game alot.

It is the best example of a 'team-reliant' game, need more games like that, that encourage (or "rely" on) teamplay to the same extent.
Exile(Amiga,C64):
Your a little man with a jet pack. Its kind of an adventure puzzle game but as well as the puzzle you have to deal with different enemies. The basic idea is to rescue several other spacemen but you also come across a robot and a little sponge like pet who can help with some of the puzzles/enemies.Its a very interactive game with lots of unique elements to deal with rather than repetitive stuff. You can never die in it but have like up to 5 teleport points you can create if you life runs low you teleport to the last one created.Your pretty free to go where you want but there are locked doors to find key for(some have to be destroyed).
Dark Souls
and
SWG Pre cu, best mmo i ever played.

Shadow of the Colossus stands out to me.
Q.U.B.E

Awesome little puzzlegame with nice gameplay :p.
Stealth Bastard - Nice lil' indie game that combines platforming and sneaking around.

I`d kill for a prequel

i already did
Some unique (really) brain/logic/puzzle games:
Talesworth Adventure - a very nice puzzle. You guide a stupid adventurer through the labyrinth. With not your arrow keys but by placing treasures in right places to be sure he chooses the right way. The only game in the list I have completed.
SpaceChem - unique and very challenging. My description would not give you an idea of what the game is.
KOHCTPYKTOP: Engineer of the People - from the dev of SpaceChem. You literally engeneer the hardware. I mean it. Like 2-bit adder with carry. Using only metal and silicon you make a printed circuit board. No pre-existing transistors available. It's like the Minecraft redstone circuits, but harder. Once you get the tutorial it is interesting to play. SO DAMN HARDCORE!

Shadows of the Damned was pretty darn unique in a "I didn't need that brain anyway" sort of way.

What else is unique in my mind?
-Trine
-Crackdown 1&2 (Come on, jumping over buildings rocks)
-Shadow Complex

Man I apparently have no gaming range. I don't know in gaming these days "Unique" = "Excessively Weird" and while I can dig weird, I prefer being able to comprehend what it is that I'm doing at any given time.
