Elementalist Golem node

It seems lame that the only class with golem-specific buffs discriminates against certain types of golems.

1) That (ascendancy) class is called the Elementalist. A large part of the point of that class is to favour elemental damage and skills.
2) The Scion Elementalist node is all-inclusive with respect to golems.
Was planning to build a "Dead-Eye/Elementalist" Ascendant for my future spark but I think it will be "DE/Inquisitor", the time a lightning golem is released

Aristotle being bad at PoE doesn't seem particularly relevant to this discussion.

lol
For the scion node of elementalist, does having a stone golem as a pet give you +30% increased fire damage? In addition, does that 30% increased fire damage affect righteous fire?
The Stone Golem counts as a Physical Golem, so you will gain 30% Increased Physical Damage - not Fire.
Are we referencing the same Aristotle who espoused spontaneous generation and planted the seed of geocentrism that grew to a towering redwood which blocked out all reason?

I thought the same of the elements too until I considered the fact almost immediately that:
Fire burns - agitating the molecules and altering chemical structure with a reaction
Cold freezes - rupturing cells as water freezes and stilling metabolic function
Lightning shocks - a surge of electrons that mess up the minute transfers that go on within an organism

Earth... well its physical, isn't getting hit with a rock the same as being hit with hammer made from that rock, and so forth all metals?

There's always been a discrepancy in games that have earth as a 4th element, what does it bring to the table in terms of effect other than damage? Especially when you have a slew of weapons that are essentially processed rock. This kind of game design is what I really admire about Path of Exile. Skills like glacial cascade really accentuate that, the flavor in this game and something close to realism.

So, I would like to thank the PoE staff for bringing to light this for me and possibly coming to same conclusion as I have. It gives the game this realistic depth.
With all these golem buffs... can we get a golemancer ascendency for scion (would fit, because they all have different requirements)? Would be pretty damn fun. Or maybe one that is solely based on the three charge types.
Not gonna happen, I know xD but a person can dream for once...
I make dumb builds, therefore I am.
