Will you use Saboteur if you are not playing trap/mine?

I believe it's been said that if you combine multi and cluster, you get a cluster with two extra traps.

Cluster Trap + Multiple Traps results in Clustered Trap + 2 traps, not 3 cluster fields.

Still, there are a few interesting things you can do with a 7-trap cluster. You can get roughly 105% increased trap trigger radius from the tree. Combine that with conc effect and a projectile or cast-on-location spell like Bladefall, and you're going to get 7x overlapping AoE effects. Sounds perfect for a Sunblast grenade build.

You'll don't need a Sunblast with the Chain Reaction node from Saboteur, it'll trigger if one of the clustered traps triggers. And yes with Bladefall it would be OP.

If Poison remains the same as now, this will be the way to go :)

Right, I forgot we are talking about the Saboteur. Tbh I feel that belt + two jewel sockets is a pretty good opportunity cost to be able to choose another Asc class. Chain Reaction seems kind of weak when you can replicate the node with minimal gear investment (well, aside from being unable to invest in increased duration nodes I guess).

I would rather take Assassin and benefit from the permanent max charges granted by Jaws of Agony as a trapper build. Or a different class that focuses on defensive bonuses.

Help me out here, what do you mean with the 2 Jewel Sockets?
Sunblast would be an option. Kinda.

Hm. Maybe thats an option. But I for myself would prefer the Saboteur mechanic.
