Sound warning on low health

Heartbeat sound during low health is helpful and would be a welcome addition to the combat system in PoE.

While exploring the Cathedral of Bones in act 2 there is a heartbeat that plays periodically in the background music and often it makes me think I'm at low health. So they could just copy that sound clip and have it trigger when health drops to a certain percentage, then speed up and get louder or fading to match whether you are closer to dying or safe.

One problem I forsee would involve the keystone passive Chaos Innoculation where your max HP becomes 1. Heartbeat sound would need to be tied into the energy shield and replaced with the Halo-like beeping and vroom sound as the shield recharges.

What also comes to my mind is just nearly the same as Garr0t's idea.
"This is too good for you, very powerful ! You want - You take"
I support this.
this helps alot, because most of the time u are paying attention in the monsters and trying to use spells and u might forget you are almost dying
cool
Just should add that it worked really good in TQ

I think it's not a good idea.

Without the warning it makes the game even darker, with a hardcore feel, cause you have to be focused all the time

I ain't need anything to remind me if I'm dead !

Your light radius dims and I believe a red tinge encroaches on your field of view.

I always know when my health is getting low because of those two things.

I've only just noticed the light radius change, and it's barely noticable, at least in dungeons.

I didn't notice a red tinge at all.

The heartbeat sound that is in TitanQuest works really well, but an alternative for this game would be to have a specific kind of groan from each class, that they make when they are having a really tough time. Something that stands out from the other "ughs" and "nghs" .. :)

I also wish the game's already small light radius in dungeons was left alone, and some other visual effect was used.

After all, in such a situation your character is supposed to find renewed strength through adrenaline and last chance survival instinct. Not to dim the lights in a sort of theatrical exit :p

+1
I'm actually using the Chaos Inoculation skill so my 'health' is only 1 HP while my Energy Shield is upwards of 1000 + 500 with Energy Shield. But from what I've seen, there doesn't seem to be any indicator when you hit below 25% Energy Shield. That would be nice to have, especially for heavy Magic/Energy Shield users.

What I propose is just a flash or pulse on the lower left (where the Energy Shield is located) warning you that your Energy Shield is getting below 25%. The same technique could be used for HP.
